Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments while handling customer returns. You will use handheld devices, perform daily vehicle inspections, and maintain secure handling of monies and equipment.

Role may involve assisting customers, acting as a cashier, and supporting merchandising tasks as business requires.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and secured, including keys and fuel/cards.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel is topped and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy and perform other duties as assigned (stocking, merchandising, etc.).
• May assist customers as a cashier or help with merchandising when needed.
