O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles and deliver parts to customers while ensuring safety and accuracy. You will use handheld devices to process deliveries, collect signatures, and manage vehicle inspections, with responsibilities including returns and daily cash handling.

Responsibilities also include maintaining vehicles, reporting issues, and assisting with merchandising and customer service as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Desired: Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and conduct daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fleet cards, devices, and monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel is topped off and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist customers and stock merchandising as needed.
• May assist with cashier duties and other tasks when business requires.
