Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to efficiently transport parts and products to customers. You will use handheld devices to process deliveries, collect signatures, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain clean, secure vehicles and assist with basic store duties as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and good communication skills. Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus (desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries and capture customer signatures.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, and monies collected.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues to store management and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and vehicle is secured at day end.
• Clock in/out per policy and assist with cashier/merchandising as needed.
