O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to safely operate company vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments. The role requires strong communication, reliable driving, and the ability to adapt to varying delivery scenarios.

Bilingual abilities are encouraged and a valid driver’s license is required. Position includes bonuses or premiums in certain circumstances, paid time off, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18-point standard.
• Legally required state driver’s license and driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage and inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; perform daily pre-op inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist customers, stock, or cashier as needed.
