TrailerCraft in Anchorage, AK is looking for a Parts Delivery Driver for our Anchorage, AK location!

Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Deliver parts to customers from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
  • Adher to company safe driving policies at all times.
  • Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
  • Assist in the parts warehouse when not deliverying parts.
  • Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
  • Strengthen customer relationships with prompt and professional service.
  • Provide communication to parts department on customer needs and returns.
  • Help in the warehouse as time allows, operate a fork-lift on occasion.
  • Basic knowledge of computers to input data into parts systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Other: Must have a valid driver's license, be insurable and a clean driving record. Must be able to operate a computer and/or tablet.

Experience: 2-3 years warehouse experience preferred, previous customer service experience preferred.

Skills: Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups and a 24’ box truck. Experience driving a manual transmission, ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone. Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Conditions

Physical:(These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.

Environmental: Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.Use of company-provided personal protective equipment may be required.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
