Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc in El Paso is seeking a Delivery Driver (non CDL) to make customer deliveries using a company or rental box truck. The role requires maintaining delivery records, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and providing courteous service on order issues.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in delivery/wholesale distribution, 1+ years operating material handling gear, and a clean MVR with up to two minor violations in three years. HS diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in delivery/warehouse/sectors.
• Prior experience delivering merchandise using box truck or similar vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area, interfacing with customers on order issues.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Provides excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and routes.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and company policies.
• Maintains contact with the distribution center for delivery interruptions.
• Maintains vehicle and customer order records as required.
• Contacts customers with delivery status updates.
