Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dayton, TN seeks a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and drop off sales flyers while promoting current promotions and loyalty programs.

You will maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, engage with walk-in customers, and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, while upselling products to increase transaction value. A valid driver''s license and good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
