Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Virginia seeks a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, upsell when appropriate, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

You will interact with walk-in customers, collect payments where required, and support daily operations, including stocking and inventory checks. A valid driver's license and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
