Job summary

Atlanta Fork Lifts is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to route daily deliveries from the home branch to technicians in the field and to customer sites. You will prepare orders, load and unload cargo, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining the company vehicle in good condition.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and solid navigation and customer-service skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Parts Delivery Driver will report to their home branch daily to prepare and verify orders that are to be delivered to technicians in the field and at customer locations. Additional duties will include coordinating pick-up and delivery to vendors and technicians at various locations.

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with an excellent driving record

• Knowledge of geographical area and ability to navigate

• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 100 lbs.)

While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the work day is spent driving. This position is required to drive and safely operate the vehicle to make deliveries from their home branch to technicians in the field, and to customer locations. Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch and carry packages. This includes loading and unloading the vehicle. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds. Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle.
