Job summary

Atlanta Fork Lifts, Inc. in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to support daily delivery operations. You will report to your home branch each day to prepare and verify orders for field technicians and customers.

You will load and unload parts, deliver to multiple locations, and coordinate pickups with vendors and technicians while keeping the vehicle clean and safe. A valid license and ability to lift 100 lbs are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Parts Delivery Driver will report to their home branch daily to prepare and verify orders that are to be delivered to technicians in the field and at customer locations. Additional duties will include coordinating pick-up and delivery to vendors and technicians at various locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle with an excellent driving record
• Ability to safely lift, load and secure payload
• Knowledge of geographical area and ability to navigate
• Strong customer relation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Highly motivated and energetic.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1 year of technical (mechanical) education or experience required.

While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the work day is spent driving. This position is required to drive and safely operate the vehicle to make deliveries from their home branch to technicians in the field, and to customer locations. Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch and carry packages. This includes loading and unloading the vehicle. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds. Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle.
