Job summary

Atlanta Forklifts, Inc. in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to support daily delivery and order preparation to technicians in the field and at customer sites.

You will plan daily runs with the service coordinator, pick up and deliver parts, load and unload cargo, and keep the company vehicle in good condition.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of technical education or experience, with a clean driving record and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Parts Delivery Driver will report to their home branch daily to prepare and verify orders that are to be delivered to technicians in the field and at customer locations. Additional duties will include coordinating pick-up and delivery to vendors and technicians at various locations.

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the work day is spent driving. This position is required to drive and safely operate the vehicle to make deliveries from their home branch to technicians in the field, and to customer locations. Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch and carry packages. This includes loading and unloading the vehicle. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds. Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle.
