Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, assist with upselling, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist walk‑in customers with parts recommendations. High school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate with customers and team.
• Read safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Perform basic math and work varied shifts including evenings/weekends.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Handle returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stocking; cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to aid sales.
• Engage with walk‑in customers to recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
