Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a customer-focused Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers while maintaining strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs, and basic math skills. You will promote sales, handle credit accounts, and keep store areas clean and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
