Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, and to drop off weekly sales flyers while promoting current promotions and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling and cross-selling to raise average transaction value, and help maintain store order, stocking, and inventory knowledge while serving walk-in customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
