Job summary

Fields Jaguar Land Rover of Northfield is seeking parts sales team members to provide premium customer service and build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and efficiency in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Responsibilities include managing parts orders, reading catalogs, quoting prices, and coordinating with shop and customers to ensure timely delivery and correct pricing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and other figures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Interact with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly stock checks for accuracy.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source when needed.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
