Job summary

Fields Jaguar Land Rover of Northfield is seeking a Parts Sales team member to manage the full parts sales process, communicate status with customers and staff, and ensure accurate catalog lookups and pricing. You will handle quotes, process orders, pull parts from stock, and maintain stock accuracy in a fast-paced garage environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience in auto parts sales preferred, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Engage with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure parts and pricing match the estimate.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly bin checks for stock accuracy.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items or urgent materials.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources when needed.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

Qualifications

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
