Job summary

BIONDI MOTOR COMPANY in Monroeville, PA, seeks a Parts Counter Person to drive parts sales and deliver excellent customer service in our Ford dealership's parts department.

You will handle parts requests, locate items, and communicate status to customers and staff while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in service department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with auto parts sales is preferred.
• Strong reading, mathematics and computer skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair/service procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with parts manager to locate parts not in stock.
• Complete special order part requests for customers.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations.

The Parts Counter Person is responsible for customer service and retail sales in a parts department of a Lincoln/Ford dealership. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts, taking inventory, & answeringphones.

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Complete special order part request for the customer
• Communicate with customer on parts status
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

Parts Counter Person Requirements:

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
