Job summary

Trust Automotive Group in Irvine is seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson to support our service department and customers. You will ensure parts availability, assist technicians, and service retail and wholesale customers with accuracy and speed.

The role requires knowledge of EPC catalogs, experience with dealership systems, and strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Equity in benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OEM electronic parts catalogs (EPC).
• Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, or similar dealership management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians by promptly supplying the correct parts needed for repairs.
• Provide exceptional service to retail and wholesale customers.
• Identify and source parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems.
• Process customer and technician parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and participate in cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OEM electronic parts catalogs (EPC).
• Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion , or similar dealership management systems is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills .
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented .
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both warehouse and service environments.

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Parts Counterperson, you'll play an essential role in supporting our service department and customers by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist service technicians by promptly supplying the correct parts needed for repairs.
• Provide exceptional service to retail and wholesale customers.
• Accurately identifyand source parts using manufacturer electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems.
• Process customer and technician parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in daily cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Process special orders, warranty parts, core returns, and customer returns according to manufacturer and dealership policies.
• Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure parts are properly labeled and stored.
• Communicate order status and estimated arrival dates with customers and service personnel.
• Promote accessories and related products when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
