Job summary

New Country BMW is hiring a full-time Parts Counterperson to support the Parts Manager. The ideal candidate enjoys people, has strong selling skills in person and over the phone, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We offer a clean facility and a welcoming, community-focused culture.

Responsibilities include answering questions, handling sales orders, managing parts stock, and assisting technicians. Some heavy lifting is required; dealership/CDK/ADP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining technical information to customers.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Willingness to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions, take sales orders via phone and email
• Promptly fill parts requests for technicians
• Responsible for ordering parts, maintaining stock, searching information in catalogs and on computer databases, and handling payments
• Heavy lifting and physical exertion needed at times

Qualifications

• Dealership and CDK/ADP experience preferred
• Must be able to explain technical information to the general public
• Needs to have a good eye for detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of auto parts, and experience in an automotive repair, or related business environment, is preferred, but we will train the right person
• Must be available to work some Saturdays
• Must Have Clean Driving Record
• A stable work history and excellent references are needed
