Job summary

New Country is seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson to support our Parts Manager in Kentucky. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, with strong selling skills in person and over the phone, in a fast-paced, clean facility.

Responsibilities include answering questions, processing sales orders, filling parts requests for technicians, ordering and stocking parts, catalog searches, and handling payments. Heavy lifting may be required. CDK/ADP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Dealership and CDK/ADP experience preferred.
• Ability to explain technical information to the general public.
• Strong eye for detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with auto parts or automotive repair environment preferred; training provided.
• Available to work some Saturdays.
• Clean driving record and stable work history with good references.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions, take sales orders via phone and email.
• Fill parts requests for technicians.
• Order parts, maintain stock, search catalogs and computer databases, and handle payments.
• Heavy lifting and physical exertion needed at times.

• Responsible for ordering parts, maintaining stock, searching information in catalogs and on computer databases, and handling payments
• Heavy lifting and physical exertion needed at times

Qualifications

• Dealership and CDK/ADP experience preferred
• Must be able to explain technical information to the general public
• Needs to have a good eye for detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of auto parts, and experience in an automotive repair, or related business environment, is preferred, but we will train the right person
• Must be available to work some Saturdays
• Must Have Clean Driving Record
• A stable work history and excellent references are needed
