Job summary

Freeport Ford, LLC in Freeport, IL is seeking a Parts Counter Person to deliver excellent customer service and drive retail parts sales. You will oversee the parts sales process, help locate parts, process special orders, and communicate with customers and staff in a friendly, professional manner.

Must meet safety policies and regulations; prior Ford dealership experience is a plus, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to the industry.

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock

Parts Counter Person Requirements:

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

• Ability to identify the problem quickly

• Knowledge of automobiles

• Effective analytical and communication skills

• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills

• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

• Minimum of 1 year in service department

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
