Hawthorne Cat in Kauai is seeking a Parts Counter/Warehouse associate to fill orders, stock the warehouse, and assist customers with parts. You will verify part numbers, process cash deposits, and handle returns and credits following Caterpillar guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year in a customer service role (service shop/parts preferred), valid driver's license, PC skills, and forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in a customer service role, preferably in a service shop or parts department.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Proficient PC skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Fill parts orders from walk-in, phone, and email customers and provide excellent service.
• Verify part numbers, models, and serial numbers.
• Handle cash deposits and daily reports for accounting.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse inventory and returns.
• Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies and issue credits per Caterpillar guidelines.
• Operate material handling equipment and perform daily housekeeping.
