The role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment and accurate documentation. The position emphasizes greeting customers, handling calls, processing orders, and maintaining records, with a focus on timely deliveries and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of parts experience in heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the branch.
• Promptly answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
• Process parts orders from all communication methods.
• Maintain accurate customer transaction records in the system.
• Follow up on vendor back orders and process vendor invoices promptly.
• Follow up on vendor part returns to ensure credit is received.
• Promote customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Maintain understanding of all product lines supported.
• Read and understand parts manuals and substitutions.
