Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Parts Counter Sales Associate in Abilene, TX.

This role facilitates parts orders, greets customers, and supports timely processing and delivery of parts while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of parts experience in the heavy equipment field, a valid driver’s license, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year of parts experience, preferably in heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers in the branch.
• Processes parts orders via phone, email, or in-person.
• Maintains accurate records of transactions in the system.
• Executes vendor back order follow-ups and credit processing.
• Supports overall customer service and product knowledge.
