Job summary

Mike Savoie Chevrolet in Troy, MI is seeking a Parts Counterperson to manage the parts sales process from start to finish. The position is full-time and located in person at the dealership, with daily stock checks and friendly customer service interactions.

You will work with staff and customers to provide accurate pricing, quotations, and part availability while verifying parts against service estimates and ensuring proper billing on repair orders.

Qualifications

• Prior auto parts sales experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills are required.
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to calculate figures including discounts and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Check in and stock parts on replenishment orders daily.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively regarding customer parts status and pricing.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
