You will maintain inventory levels, work with vendors, and stay informed about automotive parts and advancements to help customers choose the right components. The role is full-time with weekend rotation and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive dealership parts department.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Authorized to work in the USA; willing to undergo pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service at the parts counter and assist customers with inquiries and expert advice on parts selection.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide information on parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
• Efficiently and accurately process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and service technicians.
• Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
• Monitor and maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet customer demand.
• Utilize knowledge to assist customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Stay informed about new products and advancements in automotive parts to provide up-to-date information.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, providing customers with receipts for transactions.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of parts orders.
