GTG Peterbilt – Great Bend is hiring a Parts Counter Specialist in Great Bend, KS. You will assist internal and external customers by identifying needed parts and providing exceptional service. Prior automotive or truck parts experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities include locating parts, answering questions, quotes, stock management, and supporting sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Join a team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

We have an immediate opening for Parts Counter Specialist in Great Bend, KS. The successful candidate will assist internal and external customers by helping to identify needed parts. Strive to provide exceptional customer service. Advise customers on available parts and services.

Requirements

• Assist mechanics and customers with acquiring parts.
• Locate parts mechanics might need to finish job.
• Answer customer questions, provide price quotes in-person and over the phone.
• Sell parts to help achieve sales goal.
• Stock shelves on display and in warehouse.
• Pull customer orders.
• Maintain inventory, cycle count inventory, assist with core returns.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service.
• Self-starter, maintain positive attitude.
• Automotive or truck part related experience a plus not required.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate updates to internal and external customers.
• Mechanical knowledge a must.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Required experience:

• Sales/Customer Service 1 year
• Automotive or Truck Parts 1 year

Education:

• Intermediate computer skills.
• High school or equivalent preferred
• Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
