Ziegler CAT is hiring for a full-time Parts Counter Sales and Warehouse role in Minnesota. The position emphasizes customer service, parts identification, order processing, and inventory management with training provided where needed.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in diesel or automotive parts/service, and strong communication skills. The pay range is disclosed and a drug test may be required as a pre-employment step. Monday–Friday, day shift, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; 2-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in diesel engines, construction equipment, or auto parts/service.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-sensitive role; pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers.
• Helps customers determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendations.
• Determines the correct parts and their availability, and completes parts orders.
• Determines the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipment.
• Enters proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoice.
• Processes backorders, returns, and exchanges.
• Assists their team with group and team sales, providing a link and collaboration between different departments during the sales process.
• Communicates with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issues.
• Parts stocking, pulling, and Inventory counts.
• Build/Assemble - Hydraulic hose assemblies (we will train)
• Work collaboratively on a team.
