Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to assist customers and mechanics with parts and supplies, and to drive monthly sales and gross profit forecasts. The role involves managing stock, processing invoices, and collaborating with outside sales to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Deals with customers and mechanics to fill parts requirements.
• Maintains stock levels and updates price books.
• Enters lost sales into inventory system for proper levels.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers and mechanics to fill parts requirements.
• Prepares invoices for over-the-counter sales and shop requisitions.
• Assists in maintaining stock levels, receiving/shipping parts, and issuing local POs.
• Collaborates with outside sales to fulfill customer parts needs for satisfaction.
• Keeps the customer parts area and parts warehouse neat and organized.
• Updates and maintains master parts and price books.
• Enters lost sales into the inventory system for proper tracking.
• Prepares information for Parts Manager on required inventory items.
• Operates terminal console and related equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
