Job summary

Bowser Hyundai in Chippewa is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Sales Associate to sell parts and maintain positive relationships with customers. The role requires strong product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills, with duties including ticketing, order follow-up, collaboration with the Parts and Service Team, and timely delivery of parts as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid PA drivers license, and excellent communication

Responsibilities

• Serve as the public relations liaison for the dealership when servicing customers.

• Work efficiently and collaboratively with the Parts and Service Team.
• Verify with customers delivery times for non-stock items before ordering.
• Review special orders and pricing with Parts Manager.
• Deliver parts when necessary.
• Notify Parts Manager and Accounting of changes in customer details.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job description

Bowser Hyundai in Chippewa is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Sales Associate. The Parts Counter Sales Associate is responsible for selling parts and maintaining positive relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong product knowledge, ability to sell and excellent customer service skills.

DUTIES

• Serve as the public relations liaison for the dealership when servicing customers.
• Acquire and maintain product knowledge.
• Accurately prepare parts counter tickets.
• Follow up on parts orders to ensure that customers are served in accordance with Bowser customer service standards.
• Work efficiently and collaboratively with the Parts and Service Team.
• Verify with customers if delivery time of non-stock items meets their needs prior to placing an order.
• Review special orders and special pricing with Parts Manager.
• Deliver parts when necessary.
• Advise Parts Manager and Accounting of any changes in customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures outlined in the Bowser Employee Handbook.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• A Valid PA Driver's License in good standing.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong phone and email skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sitting/standing/walking no less than 8 hours/day.
• Ability to lift no more than 50 lbs at a time.
