Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Counter Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, help customers locate the right parts, and respond to inquiries at the counter. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in sales or counter operations, and a valid driver's license.

The role includes showroom upkeep and supporting warehouse staff; Premier Truck Group is an equal opportunity employer with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers’ needs.
• Call vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
• Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
• Assist warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Parts Counter Sales Requirements

Education

A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Additional product training preferred.

Experience

A minimum of one year experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.

Licenses or Certificates

A valid driver’s license is required.

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
