Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Counter Sales associate at our Idaho Falls location. You will provide excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, and help customers find the right parts.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in parts sales or counter operations, plus strong verbal and written communication and listening skills. You will also assist vendors and help maintain showroom displays.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in parts sales or parts counter operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customer's needs.
• Call vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
• Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
• Assist warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Parts Counter Sales Qualifications:

• Parts Counter Sales Education - A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Parts Counter Sales Experience - A minimum of one year experience in parts sales and/or parts counter operations is required.
