Capitol City Ford is seeking a parts counter person to support our technicians with parts knowledge, order status, and accurate invoicing. You will work closely with the parts team to ensure smooth parts fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and reliable computer use. Ford experience is a plus, and the position offers a stable shop environment with potential for earnings based on sales performance.

Capitol City Ford is hiring a parts counter person.

Counter people work with our techs to identify their parts needs.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs
• Oversee the parts sales process from tech inquiry to finding the part to invoicing
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Communicate with technicians on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

Pay is based on department sales, percentage is based on experience, with potential to make $60k to $85k a year.
