Job summary

Capitol City Ford is seeking a parts counter person in Indianapolis. In this role you will work closely with technicians to identify parts needs, lookup parts in catalogs, and manage the sales process from inquiry to invoicing, while delivering friendly, professional service.

• Previous automotive parts counter experience in retail or equivalent.
• Ford experience is a huge plus.
• Ability to look up parts in cataloging systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• People focused with strong customer service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs.
• Oversee the parts sales process from tech inquiry to invoicing.

Pay is based on department sales, percentage is based on experience, with potential to make $60k to $85k a year.
