Job summary

Selking International in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson who focuses on customer service for our truck dealership. You will locate and obtain parts, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and process orders accurately while promoting additional parts and accessories.

The role offers an hourly pay with bonus opportunities after 30 days, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and biweekly pay. Various training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a professional sales image.
• A mechanical background or parts knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of the selling process.
• Passion for customer service for the Service Department, counter and phone customers.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Locate and obtain parts for customers, in-stock, out-of-stock, or non-stocked.
• Provide recommendations for sales of additional related or needed parts/accessories.
• Timely and accurate processing of all in-store orders.
• Support Service Department, counter and phone customers with a focus on service excellence.

Selking International is actively searching for a customer-oriented Parts Counter Salesperson at our Fort Wayne, IN Dealership.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM-6PM / Saturday rotation

Education, Experience,Skills and Knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a professional sales image
• A mechanical background, experience with truck/auto/engine service or parts knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of the selling process
• Applicant must possess a passion for customer service providing excellence to our Service Department, counter and phone customers
• Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet applications
• Locating and obtaining Parts for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked
• Provide recommendations for sales of additional related or needed parts / accessories
• Timely and accurate processing of all in-store orders
