Job summary

Feldman Automotive is hiring for a full-time Parts Sales role in the United States. You will oversee the parts sales process, interact with customers and staff professionally, and manage parts catalog lookups as well as pricing alignment with estimates.

The position emphasizes high-quality service to internal and external customers, stock pulling, and timely notifications to the parts manager for out-of-stock items. A strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; auto parts sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills; strong numerical ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively regarding customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
• Review body shop estimates to verify parts and pricing align.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull/fill orders from stock and perform weekly stock checks.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or materials needing attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit orders.
• Ensure internal requests are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)
• Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
