Pay

• Base pay range: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
• Based on experience
• A Parts Counterperson is responsible for selling parts and accessories to all customers. This includes service technicians, internal customers (sales and finance), wholesale, and retail customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the service department, retail customers, and answer phones.
• Utilize the electronic parts catalog to locate the needed part or parts.
• Locate parts utilizing various tools when parts are not in stock.
• Invoice and pull parts orders for customers.
• Collect payment for wholesale and retail transactions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an auto parts counterperson.
• GM experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly via phone, email, or face to face.
• Confident in ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
