Job summary

Jeff Wyler CDJR of Ft Thomas is hiring a full-time Parts Counterperson. You will look up and hand out parts for technicians and customers, using electronic catalogs and supplier sites to source parts and information.

Respond to inquiries by email, phone, and in person, create invoices, and manage inventory to meet service and sales goals. Experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment is a plus; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in inventory control and parts management processes.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Look up and hand out parts and accessories for technicians and customers.
• Use electronic parts catalogs and manufacturers' websites to source parts and information.
• Respond to customer inquiries by email, phone, and in person.
• Create invoices and collect payment.
• Achieve parts sales goals while providing outstanding customer experience.
• Provide information, pricing, and availability of parts for the service department and customers.
• Order parts, accessories, and tires from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Prepare, package, and ship parts and accessories using common carriers.
• Receipt parts into inventory and maintain inventory in proper bin locations.
• Maintain the parts department in a clean and orderly manner.
