Birkey's Farm Store, Inc. is seeking a parts associate to represent the company to customers and handle parts sales and inventory. You will maintain accurate records, assist with pricing, and support service specials while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

The role requires basic high school education, at least six months of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs when necessary. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Basic ability to operate inventory and sales systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent Birkey's to customers and promote a positive company image.
• Maintain inventory records, pricing, and special orders.
• Support preventive maintenance service promotions and educate customers.
• Participate in inventory counts and manage stock levels.
• Process part returns and verify costs, prices, and totals on invoices.
• Track orders, investigate discrepancies, and document issues.
• Keep product knowledge up to date via bulletins and catalogs.
• Maintain invoicing accuracy and complete required documentation.
• Maintain workstation, parts room, and sales floor to company standards.
• Deliver parts to customers and vendors as directed; observe safety rules.
