Job summary

Lundgren Subaru of Claremont in Claremont, NH is seeking a motivated Parts Counter Associate to assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts lookups, quotes, and orders, while maintaining accurate inventory and vendor relationships.

This role offers a base salary with monthly commission, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for training and advancement within the Lundgren Automotive Group; ideal for someone with automotive knowledge and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge or dealership experience preferred (Subaru experience a plus)
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a standard background check
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, and retail customers with parts lookups, quotes, and orders
• Source and order OEM and aftermarket parts efficiently through dealer systems and vendor networks
• Maintain and organize parts inventory, including receiving, labeling, and stocking
• Handle wholesale, retail, and internal parts sales - both in person and over the phone
• Process returns, warranties, and special orders accurately
• Support the service department by ensuring timely parts availability for scheduled repairs
• Deliver top-notch customer service and contribute to our positive, team-oriented culture
