Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a Parts Coordinator in Baton Rouge, LA to identify, locate and obtain parts to meet customer needs. The role reports to the Parts Manager and will operate in a combined office/warehouse environment.

You will maintain inventory, research and order parts, and provide customer service via phone and email while coordinating with internal and external customers. The position emphasizes accurate communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Parts or Service department.
• Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer/client focus.
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic cranes, crawler cranes, and hydraulic crawler cranes.
• Travel may be required 5% of the time or less.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control.
• Research and order parts for customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Provide phone and email correspondence to customers regarding quotes and diagrams.
