Job summary

MGX Equipment Services in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Parts Coordinator to identify, locate, and obtain parts to meet customer needs. The role reports to the Parts Manager and operates in an office/warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include inventory control, researching and ordering parts, and delivering excellent customer service via phone and email. The position requires forklift operation and familiarity with heavy equipment parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two years of experience within a Parts or Service department.
• Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer/client focus.
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic cranes, crawler cranes, and hydraulic crawler cranes.
• Travel may be required 5% of the time or less.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control.
• Research and order parts for customers.
• Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Provides phone and email correspondence to customers regarding quotes and diagrams.
• Other duties as assigned.
