Job description

UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring a Parts Coordinator located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of parts and materials to support production operations. Working directly with the Production Schedulers and Shop Leads, this role emphasizes safety, efficient material handling, forklift operation, and utilization of MRP/ERP systems (primarily Oracle) to meet the material needs of the production floor.

  • Prioritize and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during material handling and forklift operations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate the movement of parts and materials to and from designated locations, including production lines, storage areas, and inventory zones.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport parts as needed.
  • Utilize ERP systems, primarily Oracle, to track inventory, update part locations, process transactions, and generate reports related to material flow.
  • Support the production floor by anticipating and fulfilling material requirements, resolving shortages, and communicating with the Production Scheduler on urgent needs.
  • Perform regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to optimize material availability and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in parts inventory or delivery schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or parts coordination in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with specific experience using Oracle (or similar systems such as SAP or JD Edwards).
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA guidelines) related to material handling and forklift operation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
  • Additional certifications in material handling, lean manufacturing, or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • This position requires a proactive, safety-focused individual who can contribute to efficient production operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and teamwork.

  • Requires bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers on occasion.
  • Work in an air-conditioned office, outside, and diesel shop environment.
  • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and motor vehicles as necessary.
