Highway Transport in Houston, TX is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support the Shop Manager and Equipment Cleaning by managing parts inventories and using the inventory system to maximize usage and minimize waste. The role involves processing work orders, tracking vendor charges, and ensuring accurate parts handling.
Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.
The Parts Coordinator will assist the Shop Manager and Equipment Cleaning (when applicable) with the management of parts and inventories. Maintain a high-quality standard for Highway Transport’s Maintenance and Cleaning Facilities by ensuring the inventory system is being used to maximize usage and minimize non-used. Location: Houston, TX (La Porte) Pay Range: $20.25 - $30.76.
Normal work schedule Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend work may be required. The following physical abilities, environments and equipment may be met during a typical working day: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must wear proper PPE. Majority of time will be spent in both a shop and an office environment.
