Job summary

The Blackhawk Group in Broomfield, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and documentation compliance. You will coordinate with buyers, vendors, and the Parts Manager to ensure timely availability of parts for aircraft maintenance.

This role requires strong organization, the ability to meet deadlines, and familiarity with inventory systems. Experience in aviation or automotive environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify parts and quantities.
• Inspect parts and paperwork, verify serial numbers when applicable.
• Coordinate with buyers and vendors; process shipments and returns.
• Maintain hazardous materials records and MSDS sheets.
• Update outbound shipping log and assist with month-end reports.
• Back up for pulling requisitions and allocating parts as needed.

As a Parts Coordinator, you play a critical role in minimizing downtime and keeping our technicians equipped to deliver safe, efficient aircraft performance.If you enjoy structured processes, accountability, and being the operational backbone of a high-performing aviation team, we want to hear from you.****What You’ll Do****• Receive inbound shipments, verify parts and quantities, perform ship/receive transactions in Corridor, and upload documents to SharePoint • Inspect received parts for condition and paperwork accuracy; verify serial numbers when applicable • Take photos of damaged or noncompliant parts • Monitor hardware bins and consumable inventory, report ordering needs to buyer, and verify expiration dates • Process sales orders for customers • Maintain MSDS sheets and log • Coordinate hazardous materials (Hazmat) pickups and send copies of Hazmat Manifest forms to DTSC • Coordinate all outgoing shipments, including international and freight shipments, following company shipping protocols (insurance, photos, Hazmat, etc.) • Ship cores and RMA’s back to vendors • Update outbound shipping log daily and distribute to the company • Process month-end reports as assigned by your supervisor • Back up Parts Specialist to pull mechanics requisitions from Corridor, check stock for availability, and allocate parts • Ensure requisitions are filled the same day they are received • Process returns in Corridor and return parts to bins or vendors as directed by the Parts Manager • Perform other duties as assigned****What You Bring to the Table********Required Qualifications and Skills:****• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Proficiency with inventory management systems (Dynamics, Workshop, or similar) • Basic understanding of shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed****Preferred Qualifications:****• Previous buying or purchasing experience • Prior experience in the automotive or aviation industries • Previous experience in retail or warehouse operations****Who You Are****You are highly organized, proactive, and accountable.
