Job summary

The Blackhawk Group in Wasilla, AK is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician for weekend shifts (Friday–Monday, 10 hour days). You will perform routine maintenance, tests, and repairs on turboprop aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

A&P is preferred but not required; candidates must obtain an FAA A&P within three months of hire. Comfort with King Air, Beechcraft 1900, Pilatus PC-12, and Kodiak models is valued, along with strong attention to detail and logs

Qualifications

  • A&P preferred but not required; must obtain FAA A&P within 3 months of hire.
  • Minimum 3 years in aircraft maintenance with specific model experience listed.
  • Familiarity with turboprop aircraft and aviation safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on various aircraft systems and components.
  • Run maintenance tests and checks to verify functionality.
  • Test safety systems and install replacement parts as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs of work and inventory.
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot aircraft systems.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies.

Shift Differential is available!****This vital role supports our aircraft maintenance operations by performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring all components meet industry safety standards. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards that our clients rely on. If you have a passion for aviation, a sharp eye for detail, and the technical expertise to keep aircraft operating safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you!****Key Responsibilities****· Perform routine maintenance updates on various aircraft systems and accessories.· Conduct regular maintenance tests and checks to ensure all components are fully functional.· Test aircraft safety and install replacement parts as needed for damaged or faulty components.· Maintain detailed reports and logs of inventory and completed work.· Diagnose and efficiently resolve faults in aircraft systems.· Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and technological developments.· Understand and adapt to changes in aircraft components and systems.****Required Qualifications and Skills****· A&P preferred, not required.
