Job summary

MGX Equipment Services’ Aiken, SC branch is seeking a Parts Coordinator to identify, locate and obtain parts to meet customer needs. This full-time role reports to the Parts Manager and sits in a combined office/warehouse environment.

You will maintain inventory, research and order parts, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and forklift operation are required, with preference for heavy equipment industry experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least two years in a parts or service department.
• Experience in heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Job description

As a Parts Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for identifying, locating and obtaining parts in order to meet customer’s needs

This position will be located at the Aiken, SC branch for MGX Equipment Services and report to the Parts Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain inventory control.

• Research and order parts for customers.

• Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

• Provides phone and email correspondence to customers regarding quotes and diagrams.

• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Parts or Service department.

• Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.

• Must be able to operate a forklift.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer/client focus.

• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.

• Knowledge of Hydraulic cranes, crawler cranes, and hydraulic crawler cranes.

• Travel may be required 5% of the time or less.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a full-time position with typical 1st shift hours. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
