North American Stamping Group in Portland, TN, is seeking an EPC Team Member to support early product containment and quality inspections. You will follow Quality Documentation and work instructions to assure compliance during new launches and ongoing production.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read and follow gage instructions, and strong communication with Production and Quality teams. A High School Diploma and 2 years manufacturing experience are preferred.

Competenze

• Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection.
• Knowledge of gage use.
• Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow written work instructions for gage use and part inspection.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The EPC Team Member reports to the Quality Manager or designate. This position is responsible for inspection of product quality to ensure compliance with applicable QMS procedures and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• A.Perform EPC (early product containment) for new launch parts
• B.Inspect stamped / welded / assembled product to standards defined in Quality Documentation and work instructions
• C.Sort / inspect / rework contained product to established work instructions
• D.Completion of visual and gage inspections
• E.Completion of associated inspection documentation
• F.Maintain records of audits, open communication between Production & Quality and overall professional behavior as a member of the Quality team
• G.5S Work area organization adherence and improvement
• H.In addition to performing primary duties, the individual shall provide support where deemed necessary by Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• High School Diploma

Experience:

• 2 years manufacturing experience
• 2 years computer (PC) experience

Personal/Technical Skills:

• Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection
• Knowledge of gage use
• Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Language Skills:

• Able to clearly communicate in verbal or written forms
• Ability to speak and write in the primary language of the NASG facility of employment
