Job summary

Fabrinet is seeking a diligent Quality Inspector in Santa Clara, CA to perform a range of inspection procedures across manufacturing stages to ensure quality levels meet or exceed standards.

You will inspect assemblies, determine acceptance or rework from blueprints and ECOs, and support continuous improvement by addressing deficiencies and guiding junior inspectors. Prior PCBA, SMT/IPC610 expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary/High School, Certificate Diploma
• Experience: 6+ Years preferably in Quality
• Required skills: PCBA experience, measurement equipment proficiency, reading ECO/Dev instructions and BOM
• Familiar with SMT and IPC 610; IPC cert preferred; First Piece/First Article experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process or finished assemblies for conformance to QA standards
• From blueprints/ECOs determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements
• May evaluate new procedures for non-standard rest and set-up on new equipment
• Assist others in correcting or preventing deficiencies in quality or workmanship

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect in-process or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards
• working from blueprint, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures determine acceptance or rejection or rework requirements of a part
• may evaluate new procedures for non-standard rest and perform special set-up on new equipment
• assist others in correcting or preventing deficiencies in quality or workmanship
• give work direction to other inspectors
• know your customers expectations and drive action to meet them

Job Qualifications:

Education: Secondary/High School, Certificate Diploma

Able to use measurement equipment.

Must be able to read ECO/Dev instruction/build drawer and BOM.
