Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleanliness and organization of parts rooms.
• Maintain and organize parts inventory for stocked items.
• Handle freight operations including sending and receiving.
• Check in and receive orders into the computer database.
• Restock service lube truck and organize the shop area.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee parts rooms including cleanliness, organization, and reduction of non‑utilized parts
• Maintain and organize parts inventory and shop supplies for stocked items
• Send out and receive freight in
• Check in and receive orders into computer database including scanning packing slips
• Work with outside vendors for stocking orders for the shop
• Pickup/deliver parts as needed
• Pickup/deliver vehicles to outside vendors for repairs as needed
• Restock service lube truck with oil, filters, and coolant
• Organize and clean the shop and yard around the outside of the shop
• Communicate directly with the shop manager daily
• Perform a variety of other tasks as directed
• Must be willing to learn how to safely operate a small forklift to load and unload freight (forklift training provided)

Hours

8:00AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday and occasional overtime as needed

Compensation

$19.27 - $25.38/hr DOE

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with office equipment
• Communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of team members and vendors required
• Experience or knowledge of equipment maintenance strategies and parts procurement or parts inventory is a plus
